Winnipeg Street Run 5000K

Help Paul give back to the team who saved his life in 2006
Paul Bernardin didn’t think he would be having a heart attack at age 49. He did, and survived thanks to the compassionate care and intervention at St. Boniface Hospital, Manitoba’s Cardiac Centre of Excellence.
Paul is making it his mission to run all the streets in Winnipeg, totaling 5000km. Help join the fight against heart disease by supporting the Winnipeg Street Run 5000K today.

With each donation, know that you are helping cardiac patients in need.

Bid for St. B

Art easel fundraisers are back!

We are pleased to announce the return of Art Easel Fundraisers through Funding Innovation.

A selection of prints from local artists will be chosen for St. B guests to bid on. We have two pieces, one located by the fireplace in the Everett Atrium and the second across from the main elevators.

The program began on February 9. Guests can bid on each piece for two weeks. Two new pieces will be brought in to replace them once bidding has closed.

Winners will be contacted directly by Funding Innovation.

Buy, sell, and give back!

Partnership with The Archambault Buenaventura team supports St. B

We are proud to partner with the Archambault Buenaventura (A|B) Team to give you the chance to support hope and healing at St. Boniface Hospital through the buying and selling of your home.

The A|B Team have been selling real estate in Winnipeg for over 32 years and they are actively philanthropic within the community.

Through this on-going commission-based partnership, the A|B Team will donate 15% of their gross commission to St. Boniface Hospital Foundation for anyone who buys and/or sells through their team. It is easy and comes at no additional cost to you! All you have to do is mention your connection to St. B to your A|B Team realtor.

If you are thinking about buying or selling a home*, reach out directly to the A|B Team at (204) 975-9349 or email [email protected] and don’t forget to let them know you want to support St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.

*This is not intended to interfere with any relationship you may already have with another realtor.

Milksmith Token Program

Sweeten up, give back, and beat the summer heat!

Local ice cream shop Milksmith, located on Corydon Avenue, has once again chosen the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Boniface Hospital for their token fundraising program.

The promotion will run until November. We’re grateful to have their support for our NICU, which offers compassionate support for hundreds of families year after year. Please spread the news and enjoy some sweet treats with your friends, sports teammates, and family this summer!

St. B’s NICU cares for about 600 of our tiniest and most vulnerable patients each year – babies who are sick, premature, or who may have difficulty breathing and gaining weight, among other health challenges. Extra support is crucial for their ability to thrive.

Donors have helped support much-needed NICU items and initiatives including:

  • vCreate Diaries, a secure video app that allows NICU staff to record and upload video-clips and photos for parents.
  • Jet ventilators, specialty equipment that delivers small breaths very quickly to tiny lungs, providing a gentle breathing experience and added protection
  • Onesies, blankets, and comfort items, supporting families being discharged
  • Parent Partner Program, a unique peer-to-per patient support program for parents and families as they navigate complex challenges
  • Kangaroo Chairs, designed with comfort, support, and safety in mind to improve the NICU experience for parents and newborns

Beat the summer heat with a sweet treat this summer and help us outdo our 2023 total!

For more information on this program, visit https://www.mymilksmith.com. You can also place bulk orders. To do so, please contact the company directly at [email protected].
