If he’s ever looking at a new line of work, Blake Fitzpatrick is quite the matchmaker.  

Last month Fitzpatrick, one of the owners of Maple Leaf Construction, pledged to match all donations to St. Boniface Hospital Foundation made on December 31, up to $5,000.  

Between online donations on the final day of 2022 and gifts referring to the match the Foundation received more than $25,000 in response to the match challenge. 

“I wanted to give back to St. Boniface Hospital for the care that my mother received recently,” Fitzpatrick said. 

“Over the past several years, my mother has been in the St. B. Emergency facility several times, so I know the importance of the redevelopment to our city and province. It definitely needs an update to its infrastructure for both the patients and the staff, and I am happy to be a part of the change for a better future.”   

A huge “Thank You!” to this well-known figure in Manitoba’s construction sector, for helping build something special at St. Boniface Hospital.
