I am pleased to show my appreciation for the doctors, nurses, volunteers, and all other staff members who provided me with excellent care during my visits to St. Boniface Emergency, as well as for my cardiac procedure performed through the Bergen Cardiac Care Centre.

I want to express my gratitude to St. Boniface Hospital for the care I have received over the last two years. I am very grateful to the St. B staff for the excellent care I received while being treated for my Atrial Fibrillation condition. I was diagnosed with AFib in the fall of 2021. Since then, I have experienced several episodes of very rapid, irregular heart rate that have required care at St. Boniface Hospital Emergency. With each of the episodes, I was treated at St. B in a timely manner by caring hospital staff through every step of the process needed to correct the problem, as well as providing me with what I needed to make my stay comfortable. On each occasion, staff from Triage, blood work, ECG, my physical treatment and orderlies were thorough, attentive, and willing to assist as needed, always in a compassionate, competent manner.

I am grateful to my cardiologist, Dr. Christopher Parr for recommending that I consult with Dr. Ali Khadem of the Bergen Cardiac Care Centre to determine whether I would be eligible for a pulmonary vein cryoablation. I was eligible, and received the procedure at the in August 2023. I received excellent care the day of the procedure.
