Notes of hope, healing, and gratitude

January 20, 2022

At St. Boniface Hospital Foundation we’re blessed to hear directly from donors and former patients.

A recent roundup of notes shared with Hospital staff shows that whether it’s an experience in the NICU or the ICU, recovery from heart surgery or seeing a family member receive palliative care, St. Boniface Hospital is a special place because of its caring people.

“They gave me a feeling of control in a space where I had none.”

“They’re the right people in the right jobs.”

“There’s a moral level I so admire in the nurses. The Grey Nuns would be very proud.”

“This donation is in appreciation of the professional and life saving work done by your Cardiac department.”

“ICU nurses and all the staff treated me like I was the most important person alive. They helped me through the worst time of my life.”

“Everyone I came in touch with assisted me greatly and I thank them abundantly, including the young man who shampooed my hair. Bless them all!”

“My then husband received the best excellent care on the Palliative Unit.”

Grateful for the care you received at St. Boniface Hospital? Say thanks!
