Food and Comforts Program: An overwhelming response

Your support is nothing short of amazing.

Since launching our Food and Comforts Program on March 31, 2020, we have been overwhelmed by many generous offers and donations from the local community. It’s important to us that we recognize this great generosity the best we can. The list of donations keeps growing, and we will be updating this page regularly. WRHA- Donations of water and snacks from Costco for several weeks for hospital staff

Bell MTS- Bell MTS installing new phone lines to expand the capacity of the beside patient telephone system.

Bell MTS Volunteers– Donations of caps to health care workers hand-made by volunteers

Health Hub- Health Hub providing free of charge use of the expanded patient telephone system. Health hub is also providing free of charge use of the patient bedside TVs for the month of April.

Courts of St. James- A large floral arrangement was donated to the “Essential service staff during the COVID-19 crisis”

RWB- Donated kitchen gloves and knitted headbands. Special thanks to Kelly Hooper.

United Church Meadowood- Sent in cards from kids to thank heath care workers. Special thanks to Bonnie Gauthier.
